Buying items by the pallet to resell to the ebay marketplace
Some product suppliers will purchase salvaged merchandise that
is in such large quantities that they resell the items to you by
the pallet that you can take and flood the ebay marketplace
with. This type of transaction is often made by a 'liquidator'
and you can go online to fine one nearest you.
This may not be the most secure way to find quality products to
resell to the ebay marketplace but if you are willing to take
the risk then it just may be worth it. Often times you are
rolling the dice when buying a pallet full of stuff because
there is no guarantee of what quality is inside.
While you may loose money by selling some of those items to the
ebay marketplace, you might also make that money back with other
products from your pallets. The key is to make sure that the
majority of stock from the liquidator has what you want to sell
to the ebay marketplace. This can only be done by working with
one supplier for a few rounds and properly checking them out.
Here are a few tips
of things to check out when looking for a
liquidator:
1. Find out if they are selling to mostly flea markets. If this
is the case then you may not want to buy these pallets because
the quality may not exist. The ebay marketplace is looking for
both quantity and quality.
2. Find out how long the liquidator has been in business. Find
out exactly where he gets his products from. If the company does
not want to reveal its sources then you may not want to purchase
these pallets for resell to the ebay marketplace.
3. Last but not least, check for references. This is an obvious
step in deciding to work with most anybody but a lot of people
ignore it.
